Planet Water, and J.P. Morgan Provide Clean Water After Merapi In Indonesia
Indonesia, 22 March 2011 – On the international observance of World Water Day, Susila Dharma Indonesia, Planet Water Foundation announce their collaboration with J.P. Morgan to deliver clean water to victims of the recent volcanic eruption of Mount Merapi. Using funding from a 2010 grant provided by the J.P. Planet Water Foundation announces partnership with LienAid in Vietnam
Planet Water Foundation, an international development organization, today announced a partnership with LienAid, a Singapore-based NGO, focused on deploying clean water and sanitation facilities in schools in Southern Vietnam.The collaboration will be focused on deploying water purification systems, water access, hand wash, and sanitation facilities, along with educational curriculum to promote behavioral change among children around proper water-health & hygiene practices. Planet Water Foundation, an international development organization, today announced it has been granted 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status by the US Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Asia Water Foundation brings clean water to two villages in Lombok
Asia Water Foundation recently completed clean water projects in two villages in Lombok – an island in West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Prior to the project, the inhabitants of both villages accessed water for drinking and cooking from a nearby stream, which was also frequently used as a latrine! As a result, villagers suffered from chronic health conditions with deaths related to unclean water not uncommon.more...
